The Mini Cooper Angled Dash Mount is made specifically for your vehicle starting from 2007 (See below for full list of compatibility). This mount attaches above the glove compartment. Combine with a ProClip device holder to make a complete mounting solution for your phone or GPS. The ProClip mount clips tightly into the seams of the dashboard in seconds. No drilling holes or dismantling required.

Device Holder NOT included, sold separately.

    This is a *great* solution for a MINI. Fits really well.

    Of the whole ProClip mounting solution, this is definitely the best part. It fits really, really well and it's sturdy and well built. Now, is it well *designed*? The way it attaches to the dash trim is pretty cleverly designed, yes. The way the phone carrier piece mounts to that, however... is pretty clunky. The carrier itself is also very clunky. Prepare to deploy a screwdriver and manage a ton of fiddly screws once you have to attach the actual phone carrier piece to this one. It's also borderline hideous once you've got it mounted; I say borderline because if you're in HMMVEE or a work truck or something, it'll fit right in. In a more modern vehicle it looks almost slapped together from parts you found at Home Depot.

    But all that being said, I stand by the fact that the piece that attaches to the dash is cleverly designed and works super, super well. It looks so integrated that it's a literal shame when you have to attach the phone carrier piece. I'll post up more detail on the phone carrier piece in that section, if you're interested. But this part? This part seems worth the money.

    I almost want to manufacture my own phone carrier to attach to it, maybe dremel off 33% of that massive plate. I kinda get why it's designed that way but also... why isn't the balljoint/elbow just part of this piece? So many weird design choices.

    Perfect fit

    Had this mount about 10 years in my 2014 Mini until it cracked and fell off. In the daily California sun I think that’s pretty good for any plastic part. Just bought a replacement and it fits perfectly. Well worth the investment!
