The fit and finish are perfect, as always. Reduced one star as the softer finish of the older holders is preferred. Hoping over time that there is no scratching on a bare phone without a case.

The new bare device holder compatible with no skin and no phone case is made of premium plastic and should not damage the phone exterior. Also, we stopped making the fuzzy padded holders a few years ago due to lack of demand.

Overall, I really like the ProClip that I've utilized in my car. My first ProClip was for my iPhone XS and this second one is for my iPhone 13 Pro. I was able to just attach the phone caddy directly to the existing mount, very easy. The only reason I didn't give this a 4 (never give 5s) is because the caddy for the iPhone XS was completely lined with some really soft felt material, but when I received the caddy for the 13 Pro it was just plastic. That was a disappointment and in my opinion a step back.
