Installed easily - did not even use the "double sided" tape - Since the wife is the passenger(most of the time), she has stated that it works very well for her. Now remember, where this is mounted, it's not made to hold a 10 pound device - but a simple smartphone is perfectly fine....

Not a good design for the Yukon. First one I ever had that I am not going to use. It is not sturdy. The Yukon trim on that side isn't the best for your mount.

Also, you must use the adhesive tape for this mount to deliver a solid hold onto the console area. The vertical seams should hold the mounting base securely if you fully insert the angled edges and allow time for the adhesive to set before attaching any device holder.
